The paintings are made with pure pigments mixed in the studio to give purity and intensity of colour. They are mostly on heavy rough-pressed Sanders Waterford paper, 356 g/m2, and up to 1 metre in width. Larger panels of 1 metre x 2 metres have been made on gesso-ground heavy rolls. The drawings are made on rough-pressed 190 g/m2 paper with black Chinese ink and gold ink. The artist's books are made in accordion format and bound with ribbon and boxed in custom-made linen boxes.
